Pamela’s Flowers and Custom Designs Celebrates 31 Years in Business
OKEMAH — Sept. 1 marks a special milestone for Pamela’s Flowers and Custom Designs as owner Pamela Thompson celebrates 31 years in business and more than five decades of experience in the floral industry.
Thompson has worked in the floral industry for 53 years and has owned and operated her own business for the past 31 years. She is a Certified Florist and Advanced Certified Florist through the Oklahoma Floral Association and has continued to expand her knowledge through training in floral design, interior design and a variety of artistic disciplines.
Over the years, Thompson has created floral designs for conventions, weddings, funerals, anniversary celebrations, proms, homecomings and other special events. Her experience also includes event catering and training in numerous art forms, including painting, ceramics and jewelry making.
That wide range of experience is part of what makes Pamela’s Flowers and Custom Designs more than simply a place to order flowers.
