Final photos of the Miller St RESCUE in .

This home was a perfect example of the beauty that’s hiding under metal or vinyl siding.

Gable vents and attic windows had been covered. Window and door trim had been damaged. Underneath it all though, this home was still in amazing condition.

Our work included a full exterior preservation including;

• Carpentry repairs
• and finally our preservation painting methods

State Capital Publishing Museum, Guthrie, OK.

“It was here on November 16, 1907, that President Theodore Roosevelt sent a teletyped message congratulating Oklahoma Indian Territory for becoming the 46th state in the Union.” They ran to the second floor balcony (Photo 2), fired a shot, and announced to Guthrie and all of Oklahoma the news of statehood.

This former museum site was acquired by the Guthrie Tomorrow Coalition through a story that’s movie worthy “to acquire, restore, renovate, preserve, maintain, and recognize the historical significance of the building.”

In 2022 we restored 4 windows to serve as a mock-up for continued window restoration to enclose the exterior envelope.

🏠 The history of those that came before us shouldn’t be replaced
🔨 BUT if we don’t REPAIR, RESTORE and MAINTAIN… it will be.

In early 2022 we completed an assessment of the in Norman, OK that detailed roof leaks in their office and collections storage, which lead to the City of Norman completing a roof restoration project.

A properly installed storm window combined with your existing window - historic or modern.

This project featured traditional wood storm windows on the front elevation to maintain this historic character and aluminum storm windows on the sides and rear elevation.
