To all of my fans and the Oklahoma City community,
I want to first and foremost thank everybody for their overwhelming support for my restaurant, Maya's Kitchen. It melts my heart to have fed and made many people's bellies very full and happy! It has always been a dream of mine to make something of my own and be able to provide for the community in some way. I felt I could do that with food, something I wanted to share that was a little different from what normal Vietnamese cuisine offers within the state of Oklahoma, with a little bit of Maya flair.
However, at this time, my intention was to reopen the store with a different concept in September, but after some thoughtful processing, I have decided to close the restaurant. I am still hopeful about reopening potentially in the future and have only the desire to do so because of the community's support and love for Vietnamese food and culture.
Please do not let this stop you from giving me a call and expressing your desire to see us reopen! Maya's Kitchen will still be taking catering orders for events and parties. Please refer to our former menu for anything of interest, and keep an eye out for us in the future!
