So I don’t have a lot of friends, but the friends I do have are like my very best friends. I don’t give that title out so easily. That means that I would die for them, and I feel they would do the same. Roz Karlin and Kara Ferguson always letting off life steam in our 5 year long group chat. I don’t know what I would do without that group chat… Jack Odell always sends me long voice messages that make me laugh, and she is literally there for me when I need her, and I mean she has gotten me out of some trenches for damn sure 😆 Alejandro, who is always gassing me up, and telling me he loves me from a far. Anna Hartsock I was just reading your post card you sent me from Belize. I love you so much, and need to be on the road with you soon, or I’m going to lose it!. I wish we could just be on the road together forever. Isgrig Victoria who we can’t get along at work for 5 minutes, but we can go on vacations together and we are connected at the hip!! Always laughing at people in some dark corner 😆 like literally we can spend days in a car with kids together and love every minute of it, but if you put us in a shop together we are clawing at each other’s necks! My dog who is the best decision in pet owning I’ve ever made. He is so unlike a chihuahua, but it so much like a chihuahua at the same time. Lauren Dow who is literally the best partner in the world, and I’m not just saying that!! Besides being my wife, you make me laugh until I cry, and there is nowhere else I’d rather be than hanging out on the back porch with you, or bed rotting a Saturday away. To my bike Riding Hood, without you I wouldn’t know what freedom and peace actually felt like. All my best friends are like the hottest people on earth too, that’s just a coincidence, but certainly a cool one!! I love all of you so much!!

And just like that, it’s been a half a decade gone… the pain never leaves my body for longer than a few hours. It just isn’t something to “get over”. It gets easier to accept, I suppose. You would be so proud of Lennon and Arlo. You would probably say “I’m not surprised at how good you all are doing”, because you always believed in me without skipping a beat. I miss you more today than I did yesterday. I love you forever, Marr BlingA.

It’s that time of year again, where I question whether or not it is your birthday or the anniversary of your death. It’s always like a bad dream. It’s like I relive it the same every year. I’m still standing, but barely. 😥 I will never be the same, for better or for worse. I wish you didn’t have to go so early, but I’m also glad you are at peace finally. Happy Birthday, Marr BlingA! A very full weekend with my family!! Please reshare and tag Phoebe Bridgers !! It would be a dream of Lennon’s to have Phoebe interact with her. We all dressed in phoebe suits, and Lennon brought her black kitty to be Just like Phoebe and her black dog Maxxine. She even made black kitty a lost boys Tshirt for the show!! We bought out the merch, thanks to the couple that let us cut in line (you know who you are!) the merch line was like a 3 hour wait! We went wedding ring shopping, because we are lucky enough to get to upgrade our rings. We found exactly what Lauren has been looking for, but I still have no idea what I want yet. We did virtual reality at The Sandbox two days in a row, went to meow wolf in search of this stuffy that Arlo has been really wanting. Me and Lauren got a cool piece of Effy Jewelry at Neiman Marcus We got ice cream everywhere we went, and had a great dinner at The Capital Grille

The Phoebe Bridgers show was exactly what we needed! We just had so much fun, just doing whatever we wanted! Weekends like this is what life is about! We capped off our lost weekend with breakfast in bed, and a late checkout. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I feel so fortunate to have kids that I absolutely love being around. (Update: the lady we found to take him didn’t want to make her dog jealous with the new dog.
No biggie. So, we are still on the hunt. We are located in Oklahoma City!)

This is Bailey Fluffington! One of our neighbors found him, and we didn’t want to take him to the pound. He has a microchip, and we have contacted the owners about a million times. They have been emailed, and called so much, that I’m pretty sure by now we have the answer. I don’t know why anyone would abandon this guy, but they did!! We’ve had him the past week, and he is freaking amazing!! He can sit, lay, stay, shake, and pretty much knows all the tricks. He is fixed as well, and has a microchip. He is great with other dogs, kids, and we are working on him being ok around cats. Not sure he’s ever been around one. We just aren’t taking the chance to find out with our elderly cat. We plan on taking him to the vet tomorrow, get caught up on shots (if needed) and to get groomed!! He is a maltipoo, so I really want him to have poofy feet 😆😆😆 I would like to adopt this guy out, so if you know anyone who wants a fancy pants good boy, let me know!! We will be very picky on where he goes. The kids love him, but we really aren’t in a spot for a new fancy pants dog! 🐕 Lauren Dow

Sometimes you make friends with people online that feel like family. Thanks Monty my Canadian upholstery friend! Love you, bud! Sometimes you make friends with people online that brake your heart too. That happened to me in the past year. A friend that I needed… he ended up being a bigot of sorts. He was against my employee that was an immigrant working for me, while being a first generation immigrant himself. I called him out for his bigotry, and he didn’t even deny it. It broke my heart to let him go as a friend. I use to light into my mom for caring about that kind of stuff about people she didn’t know in person. Here I am doing the same…
My mom made some of her best friends online. Those people still message me daily, and my Mom would be happy to know that I kept those friendships alive as well. She believed in her online friends a little too much for my taste, but here I am, being best friends with people across the world, just as she did. Monty if you lived here, I would hire you in a heartbeat. Too bad really…

My fear of this Advanblack fixed fairing not working as well as my giant windshield, was definitely curbed today on my first ride! Man, it is a literally night and day experience. I changed my 16 inch ape hangers to 14 inch tbars, and also got the updated snub end saddle bags too! I was worried that I would spend all this money to be disappointed. I’m so glad that wasn’t the case. I can see over my flared Klock Werks 9inch windshield. It’s kind of weird that I now get bugs on my helmet visor, so I’ll have to get use to cleaning it at gas stations. If you are at all thinking about getting this fairing, do it!! It changes the ride 💯. I’m still tweaking the handlebars to be less wide, but I’m almost all the way done with my upgrade. I had to rewire half my bike to make it all work, but it looks so nice!! I’ll probably never go back to anything but a fixed fairing. No buffeting all the way up to 95 MPH. That is important, because I ride a ton of miles at higher speeds. I will say that I’m getting use to the feel, and cross winds today had me feeling a little awkward. I know I’ll get use to it fast. It feels like what you think it would feel like. It’s a lot like riding on a cloud. The fairing lower wings make a huge difference as well. The science behind this windshield is freaking fascinating. It feels like I’m riding slower due to the lack of wind I feel. I’m telling you, just get it!! H**p hounds tooth! Skirts are so annoying to me! To do them properly takes twice as long as upholstering the pieces. These are 15 inch skirts too! I use crinoline as the backing fabric, then I sew in heavy duty interfacing at the bottom to assure that there won’t be floppy at the bottom. It’s such a long process, but you know what it looks like if you don’t do it right. These banquettes are 80 inches wide, so they are bigger than the pictures can portray.
