Finished the 141 highway Garage Sale across Iowa Sat. Friday was rough, as we found very little. Sat started off very good with the first place we stopped. The rest of the day went well. We found many interesting items. This only a few of the items including lots of giraffes. More pictures to follow.

Finished our 24 highway sale Sat afternoon. Hit our last sale in Silver Lake, KS about 4:00. By the time we got home we had driven a little over 900 miles. Sales were better sat, but not enough to make the overall trip great. At least I got to spend time with The Woo, and Teddy, and win at casino. We probably will not do this sale next year, as the sales were far and few. We were able to find some nice clocks at one sale, and a few orher decent things. Score 3 of 10.

I would like to report day 2 of our 24 highway sale was awesome, but it was not. We drove about 150 miles and stopped at a few sales, but there seemed to be quite a bit less than in past years. Most of them we stopped at were selling, baby clothes, plastic travel mugs, mismatched shoes and broken junk. It was also pretty hot out. About 90. Our grandson Ted was a trooper and never complained one time. Cant say the same for Pam and I. Hoping day 3 will be better.

My grandson Ted has grown in the last year. He's got a good eye for antiques.
