"Give It to God."
I painted this because it's a reminder I need every single day.
The drips and the mess aren't accidents. They're there because faith isn't always neat or pretty. Life gets messy. We all have a past. We all have struggles, fears, anxiety, and moments where we wonder if we're enough.
For a long time, I thought I had to have everything together before I could come to God. But that's not what the Bible teaches.
God doesn't just want our good days. He wants our broken days too. He wants the things we try to hide, the mistakes we wish we could erase, and the burdens we're tired of carrying.
"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." — 1 Peter 5:7
Jesus didn't die only for the parts of us we're proud of. He died for all of it. Our sins, our failures, our shame, our past. His love isn't based on how perfect we are. It's based on His grace.
Every day, I try to remind myself to stop carrying things that were never mine to carry. My stress. My anxiety. My fears. My worries about tomorrow.
I just... give it to God.
That doesn't mean life instantly gets easier. It means I don't have to walk through it alone.
If you're carrying something heavy today, I hope this reminds you that you don't have to carry it by yourself either.
"Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28
No matter what your past looks like or what you're facing today, God loves you. His grace is enough.
Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is simply let go...
