Recently, we read an email DIRECTLY from the Epstein files that we absolutely cannot stop thinking about. It was about a portrait Epstein had made to hang in his ranch. Our government said there’s nothing to investigate- meanwhile these emails were NOT to Epstein FROM Epstein. There are people among us COMPLICIT in child torture, r**e & murder.

If you aren’t angry this country is being lead by rapists & r**e apologists then what will anger you? This isn’t right versus left, both sides are complicit.

This is not a fu***ng democratic hoax. There is PROOF. There are SURVIVORS. But you refuse to listen. You refuse to open your eyes because they convinced you being awake (aka WOKE) and seeing the corruption is a “bad” thing.

Meanwhile, they claim to be the party of “protecting the children.” But what that means only protecting them in one way- in the womb. They refuse to protect children from violence once they are born. They refuse to hand down punishments that hold rich men accountable for their crimes against children & women.

Look at what Attorney General Ken Paxton (in Texas) just did for ADAM HOFFMAN - who s*xually abused a MINOR. Ken Paxton made it possible for Hoffman to spend only ONE NIGHT in prison & escaped the s*x offender registry. What if Hoffman had abused your child? Would you be okay with that just because Paxton is MAGA? You must remove your blindfold that conveniently only covers your eyes when MAGA politicians do something egregious. You’re incapable of seeing that they can, and do, awful, corrupt things.

Any “what aboutism” in response to this is pure deflection. It doesn’t matter who may or may not have done what they should’ve in the past. It doesn’t make what is currently happening right just because those before this administration also failed to meet the moment. IT SHOULD ALL ANGER YOU.

Until we demand more- we will get the same old tired, corrupted s**t. If you care about survivors of s*xual assault - CHILDREN - then never stop talking about this.

Protect the children & show predators they will be held accountable. Jesus fu***ng Christ.

If you need any assistance navigating these websites or resources, we can do our best to assist you. However, we do not have personal connections/contacts with these resources. But we would be happy to call on your behalf or explore options alongside of you to suit your needs. We know it can be overwhelming. You do not have to do it alone.

Please know, we are filled with sorrow & grief over closing our pantry. We see the need in Berks County and wish we could solve the problems our community members face with immediacy. Please also know, needing help is never a moral failing. The systems in place in this country are not meant to sustain us; they are merely Band-Aids.

We believe at BMA that EVERYONE deserves a roof over their head, food in their belly, and proper medical care without fear of cost.

It is our hope that together, we can make Pennsylvania, and ultimately the United States, a better place by supporting and engaging in community. We are stronger together and we are in this together. You are not alone.

This is just a goodbye for now. Not forever. We hope to engage in other forms of Mutual Aid in the future that can benefit Berks County. Keep an eye out on this page for updates regarding our projects in the future.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we make our official announcement of closing Berks Mutual Aid Food Pantry. We have some dwindling inventory to still hand out- so we will still be accepting requests for assistance at this time.

We want those that utilize our services to understand the well is running dry. It is time to locate other services our recipients can utilize. If anyone has any resources they can send our way for Berks County that we can provide to recipients - we’d great appreciate it. We’ve already gathered some resources but we want to provide everything we possibly can.

Shutting down our Mutual Aid Food Pantry has been an incredibly difficult decision to make but, with no one willing to take the reins - we have to do it. There have been serious health concerns that have grinded a lot of our progress to a hault. We don’t WANT to shut our doors- but it’s necessary at this point in time.

We are deeply sorry to those that this will impact- however, we will do everything in our power to remain a resource to our community in anyway we can. Our email will remain open and monitored. Do not feel as if you cannot reach out- we encourage you to.

To those that donated to our cause, volunteered with us, shared our efforts with people in your community, and encouraged us: thank you. There are no words that could possibly cover the ways we are so grateful for you all enabling us to do this. It was truly NOT possible with your assistance. We hope to carry the torch in different ways after some necessary time for healing.

We can make life better for our community; but we MUST work together 🙏🏼
