Penning this lil post to say; the Dungeon is run by 2 community-focused, artist-supporting humans. We are real. We are sometimes messy. And we can guarantee we are not “influencer” or “aesthetic” minded.

We do not use AI. We refuse. We don’t engage with mindless posting just for the sake of it.

We post “political” s**t, because we only see one way through. That’s together. And any insertion that talking about race creates division tells us you’re speaking out of your privilege.

We say s**t like “s**t” and “f**k.” We’re not proper. We don’t ever promise decorum. We believe that makes us relatable and keeps us humble. We never want to misrepresent ourselves to the public and we feel a responsibility in being transparent.

Many of these big oddities accounts you follow have histories of problematic behaviors. They manage to drown out past behavior by flooding the zone with lovely aesthetics & hard-to-find rarities. People ignore the red flags & follow along because the content is apparently more important than the mission.

We are the punk side of oddities. Where we can’t and won’t shut up. Where we keep it real 100% of the time. Never “toning it down” and unfortunately never mastering eyeliner & the cat eye.

This is a direct quote from a leader at Fellowship Church Mt. Laurel ; a church attended by co-owner of the Dungeon for over 10 years. This quote was in response to SERIOUS, CREDIBLE allegations of sexual abuse from members of their congregation; including the former head pastor.

It is quite convenient that they call the TRUTH from a victim of child sexual abuse the “enemy” trying to hurt them. The survivors that came forward said they are looking for accountability. They weren’t looking to bring this to the public again, however, the church boards’ behind the scene responses were absolutely ridiculous & dismissive.

We refuse to be quiet as we watch these people fail to act AGAIN and attempt to skirt all responsibility. They are displaying manipulative cult tactics that continue to brush horrendous SA allegations under the carpet and make the victims out as vindictive and work of the devil.

It’s disgusting. It’s cruel. It’s everything Christianity SHOULD NOT BE.

They make themselves out to be the heroes for sharing this information knowing full well the congregation was going to find out anyway. They think their performative “transparency” proves there is nothing to hide. They refuse accountability just like we see in our own government right now.

We’re making noise, y’all. This is what community is about. Backing the children, the survivors & anyone brave enough to speak their truths in the face of a Christian nationalist cult.

We DEMAND better.
We DEMAND accountability.
We DEMAND action.

WE DEMAND FELLOWSHIP COMMUNITY CHURCH PUBLICLY & PRIVATELY APOLOGIZE TO THE VICTIMS FOR THEIR EGREGIOUS LACK OF ACTION & COMPASSION.

Y’all act like you wouldn’t have been like those who turned a blind eye during the Holocaust when Jews and “undesirables” were forced into detainment. With no criminal offenses. No due process. Unsanitary conditions. Suffering abuses.

But…. what are you doing right now?

Because being undocumented is a f**king CIVIL offense. Because over 70% of people detained have committed ZERO criminal offenses. Many of them are CHILDREN. Many of them have been following “the rules” of immigration law. They are being detained at their immigration check ins…. Following.the.rules.

Every single immigrant granted asylum or citizenship since Trump has been president has been a WHITE South African (over 20,000 of them). Meanwhile, there are Hispanic folk that are actual CITIZENS of the U.S. and are being detained. There are SWANA immigrants that have done all the right things and STILL were detained. Violently. They are being deported to countries they have never been to (3rd country removals) and may not even speak their language.

It was about race then. It’s about race now.

You can make excuses. But at the end of the day… who does that make you?

Don’t you see it? By not paying your employees a liveable wage (which they are completely capable of without hardly putting a dent in their net worth) they create MORE citizens that have to rely on the gov’t for NECESSITIES. For FOOD. For a roof over their head.

Meanwhile, WE pay taxes that go to helping their businesses prosper. And they pay, very little taxes- or none at all.

You think that’s a fair system? A system that does NOT work for the people? It works for the 1%. And they are trying to convince you that you should be happy with your struggle- because it could be worse, right?

They get more. They take more. They give less. They put the strain on US. It’s not whatever boogie man they shove down your throats. It’s not the undocumented immigrants- it’s not possible for them to access welfare- quite literally. Look it up. Read. Educate yourself. You’re falling for every piece of propaganda they place in your lap.

Wake up. We are actively losing rights to our voices (freedom of speech) - for protesting data centers that do NOT benefit us. But the billionaires want them. Despite the harm they cause our communities.

Can you not see the corruption? This isn’t happening in a vacuum. Our politicians are complicit. The money is never going to trickle down. They are gate keeping your access to a comfortable life. And slowly, as they strip away more and more of your autonomy, you turn a blind eye to whatever they distract you with & tell you to hate.
