Some floors have a little more meaning built into them.

This Omaha home now features 5” red oak flooring, finished with a custom Níspero wood border made from wood the homeowners brought back from Costa Rica.

Finished with LOBA Home Invisible, topped off with new trim, and ready for its final reveal.

A beautiful blend of craftsmanship, natural wood, and memories brought home from somewhere far away.

Built with care. Finished with a story.

A little piece of Costa Rica is now part of this beautiful new floor in Omaha, Nebraska.

We installed 5” red oak flooring and added a custom border crafted from Níspero wood the homeowners brought home from their travels. It’s a meaningful detail that makes this floor truly one of a kind.

The video shows the first coat of LOBA Home Invisible finish down. With two more coats and new trim to come, this project is nearing its final reveal.

Craftsmanship with a story behind it—that’s what makes a house feel like home.

30 years ago, we installed these Brazilian cherry floors in downtown Omaha.

Three decades later, we’re still taking care of them—sanding, refinishing, and bringing them back to life.

There’s something special about working on a floor we installed all those years ago.

30 years. Same floors. Same craftsmanship.

These Brazilian cherry floors were installed by us 30 years ago in downtown Omaha.

For three decades, we’ve continued to restore, maintain, and refinish these floors—bringing them back to life while preserving the character of the original installation.

After 30 years, the goal isn’t simply to make an old floor look new.

It’s to restore what’s already there, preserve the craftsmanship, and let three decades of character show.

Installed by us. Restored by us. Built to last.

A little stain sampling before the final decision.

This sample board shows three different stain options on 2¼” red oak, each finished with a satin sheen:

• Aged Barrel
• Weathered Oak
• English Chestnut

Seeing stain on the actual species of wood makes all the difference. Red oak’s natural grain and character come through differently with each color—from the deeper, richer tones to the lighter, more weathered look.

A simple sample board gives you a much better idea of how the finished floor will look before committing to the whole room.

Complete transformation of this 120+ year-old staircase and hardwood floors.

After removing the carpet, the project revealed extensive restoration needs—from structural leveling and subfloor corrections to repairing damaged treads, risers, landings, hallway sections, and the upstairs bedroom. Every element was carefully restored to preserve the home’s original character and craftsmanship.

The result is a seamless blend of old and new, where the refinished work feels as though it has always belonged, honoring the home’s original aesthetic.
