Dornacker Flooring My page is a way for me, as a small business owner, to showcase our work to new and current customers

I am a married father of 3 kids, 2 adult and 1 going to Westside as a freshman. I have been in the field doing hardwood floors since I graduated high school in 1997. What was once just another job supporting me has now become who I am. Over the years of doing the grind as an employee and doing side work to make ends meet, I have come to understand the importance of caring about your work and your work ethic. If you treat every floor as if it was in your own house and treat the customers just as you would like to be treated, well it just made sense to me. It changed my mind set and I started to enjoy what I did with and for people. I started to push coworkers to follow suit, a few did, others didn't, but here I am trying to put out quality work that I am proud to put MY family's name on. I may not be the best, but I enjoy meeting or exceeding our customers' expectations

Busy Friday if not all week!

Did a second and third coat on our main job, took on a job that another guy couldn’t match color on so the homeowner called us to come take over. Stained it last night, first coat this morning and now we get to work Saturday to wrap them up. Oh we also delivered wood for our project we start Monday north of town.

Check this out!!!

Got a call from a previous customer from 2 years ago for an estimate on another project. After doing the walk thru, they asked if we wanted to see out our previous work.

Well of course we did!

2 years down and still looks brand new

We keep it small and simple so we can put out quality work and put every customer first while working on their project .

These turned out great, something I wouldn’t thought of.
She put wall paper on the risers and had us install the decorative floral designed trim pieces that she painted the designs to match.

One of our projects this week.
The boys tore out the engineered floors they had laid where carpet used to be. Now we are installing some 2.25” maple to make it look like it was all done at once. We will be sanding this floor in a few weeks.
