Growing up, there were always pieces around our house that Grandpa Dallas made in his little shop in Daykin, NE. As I grew up and showed more interest in creating my own items, he would take me out to his shop and show me how to use new tools or ideas to make my things even better. Using those same tools that he held in his own hands and the lessons he so lovingly taught me, I create my own beautiful pieces for you to display in your own home.

✨Fun Find Friday✨

For the record, I do not actively seek out 80's & 90's t-shirts and sweatshirts, mostly because I don't want to fight the hipster 20-something guys that make these pieces their mission. However, a few of these items sometimes slip through the cracks and I am able to grab them.

These are 3 of my current favorites, especially the yellow! Seriously, it makes me want to book a ski vacation just so I can wear it...you know, like a cool, hip lady 😎

Check out some of these fun pieces I've been sitting on. They are vintage, nostalgic, and full of personality.

We've got Strawberry Shortcake curtain valance, a Minnie Mouse sheet that is flat at the top and fitted at the bottom (I had never seen that before), Phineas and Ferb for the early 2000s kids, AND two handmade vintage log cabin quilts with John Deere "Nothing Runs Like a Deere" novelty fabric. Someone's grandma made these with LOVE.

Most of these will be hitting the shop soon so keep an eye out!

This tapestry hangs on my wall and it's one of the first things I see every morning. Honestly? It never gets old and is a great reminder when I get too much into my head.

Got most of my garden planted and I am hoping for a more bountiful harvest than last year. I ended up with about 6 green beans and 2 small pieces of broccoli...but I am going to do better this year.

Main focus: 💦WATER THE PLANTS💦 And learn to like all the veggies I planted 🤦‍♀️
