Another Precious Moments repaint complete!

This little figurine started out as a piece that probably wasn’t going to have much of a secondhand market anymore. But the boat, the life preservers, the tiny puppy...I knew it had potential.

So naturally, I turned these two sweet little sailors into pirates. 😂

A little paint, a skull and crossbones, some stripes, and suddenly the SS Fellowship has been taken over by a much more questionable crew - but they are still so cute!

I absolutely love finding these older Precious Moments pieces and imagining what they could be instead of letting them end up forgotten on a thrift store shelf. And I think this may be one of my favorite transformations yet.

Check out these letter-shaped chunky blocks that I picked up a couple weeks ago. I finally took the time to clean them up and make sure it was a complete set.

So, this message showed up in my email this morning from a fellow eBayer. Apparently, from watching the video I had included in my listing, he was able to determine that I may have the wing nut on the wrong side and took the time to send me a message. I finally had time tonight to dig the fan out and, wouldn't you know it, HE WAS RIGHT! Literally moved the wingnut to the other side and the fan can be adjusted perfectly now.

I guess it takes a village to run my life, and that village now includes a friendly fellow from Louisiana. 😉

Oh, hello! Meet the newest addition, Loralie Lynnette.

I love that someone loved her enough to keep her adoption & birth certificate paperwork together! The number of times I have misplaced my ACTUAL kids' birth certificates is embarrassing...

Hopefully her new parents will take good care of her for the next 40 years 🥰

"Oh my god, this box is full of Legos from a Happy Meal toy?!?! Andre, come in here and figure out what we have."

Five minutes later, we still have a box full of Legos (vintage ones, apparently) and three complete helicopters.

Also, just a quick side note, how did we go from full-blown Lego sets in Happy Meals to literal garbage that they put in there now?

Not cool, capitalism. Not cool.

Finished the surfboard sign and I love how it turned out! We worked together to come up with a design that incorporated the original idea into something beautiful.
