Good staging is about working with what you have, removing what distracts, and adding or changing only what will make the biggest impact.

Before a showing or photos, open the blinds, pull back the curtains, and let that sunshine do its thing.

Natural light can make a room feel bigger, brighter, cleaner, and more inviting—AKA exactly how we want buyers to feel when they walk in.

So yes, I will absolutely walk around your house opening every single blind. 😂

Sometimes the best staging piece is already outside the window. ✨

Moving furniture, fluffing pillows, obsessing over the perfect rug placement… and somehow I get to call this work?!

Building a staging business around something I genuinely love is pretty dang special.

Turns out, work feels a whole lot different when you actually love what you’re building. 💛

Three things I will NEVER not tell you as your stager. 👀🏡

1. The rug is too small. I’m sorry, but somebody had to say it. 😂
2. We need to remove some stuff. Yes, even the things you love.
3. Just because a room looks good for everyday life doesn’t mean it photographs well.

I’m not here to hurt your décor’s feelings. I’m here to make buyers fall in love with your HOUSE.

A little tough love. A lot of strategy. And probably a different rug. 😉✨

It’s easy to focus all the staging attention on the kitchen and living room, but I’m not skipping the little spaces.

In a small bathroom, every detail feels bigger—the towels, countertop clutter, lighting, even the shower curtain. A few intentional changes can make the whole room feel cleaner, brighter, and more spacious.

Because buyers are looking at ALL of it.

And no bathroom is getting left behind on my watch. 😉✨

But don’t get it twisted—I mean business. 😏🏡

Every rug I place, piece of furniture I move, and accessory I bring in has a job: make the home photograph better, show off its best features, and help buyers picture themselves living there.

I’m not decorating for fun. I’m staging to sell.

“I wish there were more signs that said ‘Gather.’”
“That farmhouse rooster really sealed the deal for me.” 😅

What they do say?

“This feels bright.”
“This feels spacious.”
“This feels expensive.”
“This feels like home.”

That’s the point of strategic staging. It’s not about adding more décor. It’s about creating the right feeling, highlighting the home, and giving buyers space to picture their own life there.

People don’t buy the pillows. They buy the feeling. 🏡✨

The purpose of staging is simple: direct attention to the features that make buyers fall in love with a home—not the distractions that pull them out of the moment.

Because buyers should remember your gorgeous kitchen...
Not the treadmill in the dining room.
Not the overflowing shoe rack.
And definitely not the "Live. Laugh. Love." sign.

A well-staged home tells buyers exactly where to look—and gives them room to imagine their own life there.

That's the difference between "Nice house."

People are always surprised when I tell them which room gets the least attention during staging.

Because the goal isn't to make every room perfect.

It's to make buyers remember the right rooms.

The spaces where they imagine hosting holidays, drinking their morning coffee, or winding down after work deserve the most attention. That's where emotional decisions happen.

Good staging isn't about decorating every square foot.
