Our hope is that MODO becomes more to our customers than just a piece of furniture or a design plan, to go beyond the tangible and help you create something that matters. At MODO it’s all about the story, there's a story that inspires each piece of furniture, each design choice, each person’s unique space. For us, that story started 6 years ago when Ben built his first piece of furniture, a simple

black bookshelf because we needed a place to put books that fit our space. If that simple little bookshelf could tell its story, it would tell you about the long rides in moving vans, its role as a resting place for our dog, a trampoline for our boys, and a place to throw keys and bags after long days. It’s been there for all of our stories and memories; it’s been there when we needed it. At MODO, this bookshelf is the centerpiece for what we believe in, creating furniture and spaces that can share our stories and express who we are.
