It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nora Jernigan. Scott, I, and the family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers. The Corner Pocket will close temporarily. The arrangements have been made for our mother. The funeral is Tuesday September 6 at Lester Memorial. The viewing is from 12:00 to 2:00pm. The actual funeral service will be at 2:00. There will be a brief grave side service at Oak Hill Cemetery. We know she is in a better place. She truly was blessed to have such a wonderful life surrounded by her family and great friends that loved her.

The Corner Pocket is getting ready for Christmas. We have a lot of unique items for you to see. Stop by and visit and you might just find that perfect Christmas present some items are on half price including some Christmas. If you have noticed old Santa that lights up he's just display. The sleigh and the other window is borrowed for display so they aren't for sale. I have been trying to find more because people really want them. But then we have plenty more to choose from and something different comes in every day so stop by.
