Charlie is super excited to announce that our little roadside Farmstand is OFFICIALLY OPEN and in business! 🌼

Here’s the rest of our opening weekend itinerary:
📅 Thursday (today): open until 6PM
📅 Friday, Oct 31: 9AM–6PM
📅 Saturday, Nov 1: 9AM–6PM

We’ll be in and out throughout the weekend—restocking fresh items, adding new goodies as they come, and stopping by to say hi and thank you!

In case we miss you when you stop by, please know how grateful we are for every bit of love and support you’ve shown our little family dream. 💛 It’s been such a joy watching Charlie’s excitement as he opens what he proudly calls his very own “grocery store.” God love him!

Boss Babes Brunch has been my sweet little passion project for 3 years now (wow, I can hardly believe it!). When I left my full-time career to become a stay-at-home mom and launch our small events venue, I suddenly found myself feeling isolated and craving connection. In that quiet space, I felt God nudging my heart toward what I needed most—community, friendship, and meaningful in-person connection.

Boss Babes Brunch was born out of that need, and it has grown into something so simple yet so beautiful. Some months we have inspiring guest speakers, creative business workshops, or fun hands-on experiences. Other months, it’s just as sweet—brunch, coffee, and a safe space to sit among like-minded women who get it.

THE POWER OF FLOWERS

Today’s to-do list? Absolutely wild — with a full weekend of beautiful events ahead, I had everything planned down to the detail. But let me tell you… not a single thing has gone according to that plan.

Roads shut down (shoutout to 149 🙃), surprise rainstorms, stores out of what I needed, the A/C doing it TX thing — you name it, it happened.

Anxiety crept in. I started missing my sweet family something fierce, and honestly, I needed a moment to reset. So I stepped outside, snipped a few blooms from the garden, and sat down at our old picnic table… and everything shifted.

There is power in flowers.
There is peace in petals.
And there’s perspective in pausing.

While the chaos swirled, my heart stilled. And instead of focusing on what wasn’t going right, I started seeing the beauty that’s been here all along — even in the mess.

I’m so incredibly grateful.
To God, for entrusting me with this life, this land, and this dream.
To my people, especially my rock and voice of calm in every storm — the yin to my yang, the one who reminds me to keep going when it feels like too much.

There’s still a lot to tackle before the sun comes up tomorrow, but I’m doing it with a full heart and a grateful spirit — for the chance to build something meaningful and serve others with everything I’ve got. Prayers appreciated, we got this!

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads out there!

We’re especially grateful for our very own “Dada,” Mr. Mc, aka Ben — the heart and hands behind so much of what we do. He’s our fixer, builder, repairman, remodeler, mover, and shaker… but more than anything, he’s the steady rock and foundation of our small, family-owned and operated dream.

Thank you, Ben, for believing in this little business of ours and doing everything to make it happen.

Happy Mother’s Day, Mamas!
Thank you to our Mi Casa Su Casa community and clients for letting me live this beautiful whirlwind of a dream. I get to love and serve you here at the venue—while also being a full-time mama to these sweet babes.

It’s not always easy, and your patience means the world—so thank you!

This is the life I prayed for, and by God’s grace, it’s come true. Thank you, Jesus, for fulfilling the desires of my heart. And thank you all for honoring my calling as a mother first and allowing me to care for my babies while I care for you.
