Oh how I miss this, especially for Christmas❤️🎄I can still feel and smell the snow, taste the Gluehwein while browsing all the Christmas Markets in my homeland, Germany, enjoying the atmosphere, family and snacking on Gingerbread. Grateful for the memories 😘

Most every year I spend my time decorating many homes for the holidays between October and Mardi Gras, as seen in just a few photos here. That is the time of year when renovations and construction come to a halt for a couple of months.

I adore meeting my friends and new customers to create a beautiful, festive decor for them and their families. After receiving so many calls and having done this work for over 30 years, I had to explain that sadly, I have to sit this year out to recover from immense pain. Please remember me next year, I hope to be fit again to do the work I love. If you know me, you know I don’t have access to summon the Greek Gods to do the heavy lifting. Lol 😂. I am hands on and usually do all the heavy lifting myself.

Growing up in an orphanage and foster care until a teenager, I never got to experience Christmas too much. I think that is why my creative side loves to help families have a Holy Christmas filled with beauty, warmth and fun.

I get lost in my thoughts to relax and enjoy a little time with wonderful people and I can run away briefly from lifes troubles .
