For my local small business owners—how can you tell when you’re talking to a real person versus someone who’s just trying to scam you?

It really hurts to spend an hour putting together a project, answering questions, or digging through your inventory to find exactly what someone is looking for… only to realize halfway through that it was a fake profile or someone trying to collect information to duplicate your page or pull some other kind of scam.

Small business owners put real time, money, and effort into helping people. That time matters.

So, what are your red flags? What do you look for to make sure you’re dealing with a legitimate customer?

I’d love for other local business owners to share their experiences and tips. Maybe we can help each other avoid wasting time—and, more importantly, protect our businesses.

I will say that videos of Cece, Timothy, and a few chickens sometimes makes it on there. Trying to use my second account for those but I'm not the best at loging into 4 separate accounts. I'm still new to this.

Prices may vary depending on the size, number of letters, design complexity, and other custom requests, but I always do my best to keep my pricing fair.

My laser can cut signs up to 12" × 22". If you need something larger, I can create it in multiple sections that fit together seamlessly once hung.

Throughout the process, I'll send updates and photos so you can approve the design before anything permanent is done. My goal is to make sure you love the final product!

A quick update from Cece's Dream Works!

We've made the decision to close our booth at the SEMO Craft Fair & Workshop. Between running the business, taking care of family, and keeping up with a busy two-year-old, I just wasn't able to keep enough inventory stocked to do the booth justice.

This isn't the end—it's just a change in how we're doing things.

We're still accepting custom orders, and over the next few weeks I'll be posting photos of the inventory we already have available for immediate purchase. If you've been wanting something laser engraved, 3D printed, or personalized, just send us a message!

Sometimes the best days are the simple ones. 🇺🇸☀️

Today was spent on the back porch watching podcasts, keeping an eye on the chickens, hanging out with the dogs, and just enjoying some peace and quiet. As a stay-at-home dad, days like this are hard to beat.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandpas, and father figures out there. We hope you had a great day with the people who matter most.

Recently finished up this custom garage sign for a family who sadly lost their home in a fire and are currently rebuilding. They had a design idea they really liked, and we were able to take that vision and turn it into a finished piece they could proudly display in their new space.

This was made from 1/4” maple plywood, and we added a reinforced frame on the back to help keep it sturdy and prevent warping over time. Overall, it turned out beautiful, and seeing how happy they were with the final piece made this project even more special.

This is one of the reasons I enjoy doing what I do — creating custom pieces that are meaningful and memorable for people.
