The Store that we started as a family business has entered the last month as a brick and Mortar location. Unfortunately the times have changed! Many thanks to all our customers that have bought and traded with us in the past. We will still be doing some online sales and shows as time and inventory allows. As usual if you’re looking for something let us know as the hunt for cutlery never ends for us! Sharpening service will end in 10 days, after that we can still provide edge care with local picks for sharpening or at shows! Thanks again to all who have helped us carry on for 6 years. Special thank you to all who have helped keep the doors open this year! Watch your top knot and carry on with honor! God is great

On today’s trade blanket is a fun one. This was a vintage Re*****on blade that at one time broken blades. A craft person recognized potential to broken equipment. They replaced a couple broken blades with blades (or reshaped to their needs) replaced pins with copper one on the original bone handles and made a tool, they needed. Decent snap on all three blades. The hobby needs more of this versus throwing good steel and frames in a landfill. Reduce, reuse, recycle ♻️ .

Some of you that I have sharpened blades for in the past have asked how I do it?! Well we sharpen most items (99.9%) by hand and stone. Starting left to right. Each step is important with the third stone being the most important. That stone has a nickname and it is called “magic” all steps have a purpose and reason. Hope this helps some understand why I tell you come back tomorrow for pick up (depending on the que in front of your blade). If you want to learn or understand our process a bit better come on in and we can help you learn or sharpen your blades.
