A bedroom moment made even better with the right lighting. ✨

The oversized chandelier adds drama and scale, while the bedside pendants bring in warmth and texture without taking up any nightstand space.

Different fixtures, one beautifully layered look. 🤍

When you’re planning bathroom lighting, sconces don’t always have to go beside the mirror. ✨

Using linear sconces above the mirror is a great way to add even, functional light while creating a cleaner, more architectural look. It’s an especially good option for a wide vanity or oversized mirror where traditional side sconces might feel repetitive.

A small change in fixture placement can completely change the feel of the space.

Save this for your next kitchen project ✨

A few guidelines to keep in mind:

💡 Pendant size: For most kitchen islands, look for pendants around 12–20” wide. Larger islands and open-concept spaces can often handle 20–30”+ fixtures.

📏 Height: Hang the bottom of your pendants approximately 30–36” above the countertop.

↔️ Spacing: Aim for roughly 24–30” between pendants, adjusting based on the size of the fixtures and island.

✨ 2 vs. 3 pendants: Don’t choose the number first. Start with the scale of the island and the fixture, then determine how many you need to create an evenly balanced look.

And remember: these are guidelines, not hard rules. Ceiling height, sightlines, fixture shape, and the overall scale of the room all play a part.

Last weekend to see these beautiful homes in the Salt Lake Parade of Homes! ✨

A little lighting appreciation for these gorgeous spaces by Narwhal Homes. We love seeing how the right fixtures bring each room together and add that finishing touch. 🤍

If you haven’t made it out yet, this is your last chance to tour them in person!

Some fixtures make a statement for a season. Others become part of the home’s character.

From timeless globe pendants to sculptural chandeliers and woven textures, these selections are designed to feel just as beautiful years from now as they do today.

Everyone says a white fixture will disappear… until it’s installed on a dark ceiling. 👏

The contrast actually makes the fixture stand out, while the soft glow keeps the space feeling warm and balanced. Sometimes the best design choice is the one people tell you not to make.

Choosing the right ceiling fan is about more than style.📍 Save this for your next project

Up to 144 sq. ft. → 44-48” fan
144-225 sq. ft. → 52-54 fan
225-400 sq. ft. → 60-72” fan

An undersized fan won’t move enough air, while the right size improves comfort, airflow, and keeps the room feeling proportional. In large great rooms like this, an oversized fan is often the best choice.

Some pieces just aren’t meant to be experienced on paper. ✨

A catalog can show you the design, but it could never capture the way this fixture comes to life in person.
