A little play, a little polish.
This kitchen was designed to work hard, entertain beautifully, and never take itself too seriously — high-gloss berry cabinetry, sculptural lighting, patterned stools, and a ping pong table holding court at the center of it all. Plus, an outdoor room with all the right ingredients: shade, texture, color, comfort — and one very good pink umbrella.
Layered wicker, patterned seating, crisp architecture, and a view beyond make this space feel equal parts relaxed and composed.

A true throwback — I recently came across these sketches from my architecture studies at UC Berkeley.

Long before I designed interiors, I was trained to see proportion, rhythm, and architectural clarity. That way of seeing never left me — it still shapes how I design today: spaces that are layered and expressive, yet always grounded in strong architectural structure.

That early training shows up in my work through a strong architectural foundation, and a confident use of color — because when the structure is right, it can carry it!

The definition of indoor outdoor spaces! Inside, a curved greenstriped sofa arcs across a botanical rug, while floor-to-ceiling draperies in lush Pierre Frey prints bring the landscape indoors. Overhead, turquoise-and-brass Atelier 001 pendants act as luminous jewelry. The project’s devotion to French textile house Pierre Frey became such a defining thread that we jokingly began calling it “the house that Pierre Frey built.”.
