Instructions:

1.Place the eggs in a medium saucepan and cover them with cold water by about 1 inch.
2.Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
3.Once boiling, cover the saucepan and turn off the heat.
4.Let the eggs sit covered for 12 minutes.
5.Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and chill for 10 minutes.
