Thank you to the kind man who asked me if I take care of the market garden at East End Market yesterday! He said it’s one of the reasons he and his family keep coming back! 👩🏻‍🌾🌻💐

I got a lovely update from my student nataliaskeba ! You probably noticed her flowers aren’t pinched BUT she was on her honeymoon and came home to all of these beautiful seedlings - so she gets a pass and is already working on pinching them. She’s off to a great start with her zinnias, celosia, sunflowers, and cosmos! 🌻🌻🌻

Next up is “How to Grow Cool (season) Flowers” at Leu Gardens ! I love teaching this class - you truly learn that nurturing your flowers over time rewards you with bright, beautiful blooms in the Spring. I also love sharing cool season seeds and plugs at this class that I have specially curated for my students. These are tried and true cool flowers that I have grown for over a decade in Zone 10a. Link to workshops in profile! (please note that this is an advanced workshop for my students that have attended one of my beginner’s cut flower workshops at Leu Gardens or the Winter Park Library OR with instructor’s permission).

Cafe lights in the garden make me happy 😊! We just added Trimlights to the cottage too - still trying to master the app! Anyone else have Trimlights? Let me know if you have a favorite pattern! 🧡🧡🧡

Please join me for “How To Grow Cool Flowers” on November 14th at beautiful Leu Gardens ! I will share my favorite cool season flowers for the advanced gardener and how to grow them in our unique zone. These are some of my all-time favorites including lisianthus, starflower, ranunculus, love-in-a-mist, foxgloves, delphinium, and more. You will learn to get a head start on your Spring cutting garden and grow a bounty of beautiful and unique flowers to create your own bouquets. Students will take home cool season flower seeds and/or plugs especially curated for Central Florida gardeners by me. Please bring a Sharpie, pen and notebook. All other materials included. Link to sign up in Profile!

*PREREQUISITE: This workshop is for students who have previously attended one of my “How to Grow Cut Flowers” or Dahlia workshops or with instructor permission (email me). This is not a workshop for beginners.*

Succulent Pumpkins remains one of my most popular classes even after over 10 years! I had the pleasure of teaching this fun, gracious, and talented group for a team building workshop this week. We had a great time! Thanks so much for having me! 🎃🎃🎃

Thank you Hospitable Harvests for helping me with my workshop! What a great gardening friend!

I feel so lucky to be able to work with local succulent nurseries for my workshops! I’m able to pick up fresh, colorful plants year-round. Today, I’m teaching a large private group for a team building activity! Stay tuned! Check out the friendly kitty I befriended at one of the nurseries! 🐈‍⬛🎃🌵
