🔥 THE TUXEDO TREATMENT. Part II 🖤
This brand-new Ford Expedition came in looking good… but left looking completely different.

We gave it the full Auto Obsessions treatment:
▪️ 𝗟𝗟𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝗣𝗙 𝗧𝘂𝘅𝗲𝗱𝗼 𝗪𝗿𝗮𝗽
Roof, pillars and upper sections transformed with a deep gloss-black finish — giving this Expedition that factory-plus two-tone look while adding the protection of paint protection film. Again- No vinyl was used, and roof is one full piece.
▪️ 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗛𝗣𝗖 𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴
The entire vehicle was ceramic coated with HPC Pro for incredible gloss, slickness, hydrophobic performance and easier maintenance.

We finished it off with Stratos on the front two windows AND windshield — LLumar FormulaOne's top-tier automotive window film, engineered for serious heat rejection without sacrificing the clean appearance of the vehicle

𝟭𝟰 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 when this Escalade came through the door. Nobody knows a brand new Escalade better than Auto Obsessions.

It left with a full tuxedo treatment in LLumar gloss black paint protection film. 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝗻𝘆𝗹. We have been doing tuxedo work since before it got popular, and we have 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦 done one in vinyl.
The roof is 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲. Front to back, no seams, no split down the middle where you cannot see it from the ground. That is the part most shops will not attempt, and it is the part that separates the real thing from a shortcut.

We pulled the antenna and had it painted gloss black. The mirror caps are 𝗢𝗘𝗠 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸, purchased, not covered. The front windows got LLumar FormulaOne Pinnacle so they match the backs perfectly, and the whole thing was topped with Labocosmetica Cupido.

There are cheaper shops out there. Nobody is arguing that. What we are 𝘯𝘰𝘵 going to do is put an inferior product or a faster technique on a vehicle that came to us for the best.

Huge shoutout to buddy Bruce at Roadskins Graphics for getting the new signage up, Friday last minute. With the new branding of things we had to make some changes so we are forever thankful for the clean look! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟰𝟱𝟴 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮. When Ferrari launched it in 2009 it was the end of an era and nobody knew it yet. A 4.5L naturally aspirated V8 screaming to 9,000 rpm. No turbos, no filters, just a flat-plane crank and a Pininfarina body that still looks current 15+ years later. The 488 that followed was faster on paper. It never sounded like this.

This one came to us wearing a Vorsteiner VX carbon fiber front bumper. If you've never worked around one, the VX program is genuine pre-preg carbon and the geometry is aggressive. Sharper intake surrounds, a deeper lower lip, compound curves everywhere. Beautiful piece. Also the kind of panel that will humble an installer used to plotter patterns and flat hoods.

That's the part people don't see. There's no pre-cut file for an aftermarket carbon bumper. Our guys hand-cut and hand-tucked the entire front end in LLLumar FilmsValor PPF. Full hood, full fenders, mirrors, front bumper, headlights. Working the film into every vent radius and wrapping the edges so there's no seam line staring back at you in the sun. One relief cut in the wrong spot on a bumper like this and you start over. They didn't.

We also covered the wear areas behind the rear tires. Those rockers eat rock chips on any mid-engine car, and on a 458 that panel is not cheap to repaint.

Valor is LLumar's industry leading PPF. Self-healing top coat, high gloss, doesn't dull the carbon, doesn't yellow. You'd have to get close to know it's there.

Silver, yellow stripes, yellow calipers, carbon everywhere. Hard to beat.
