The glass inlay fits perfectly... Sanding the topper and fixing some of the blemishes before gluing everything down which will complete the top build portion.

Next stop is to focus on adhering the legs to the table and skirt to make a complete coffee table... Because the woods are already creating contrast I will most likely be using an oil based finish that will make both the different woods pop. Stay tuned!!

Finishing the topper for this coffee table build!

Really enjoying seeing it all coming together. Have to add some decorative portions before the glue up but it's only a matter of time till you all see my first coffee table build complete!

Excuse my hair being a little messy but I made a hair clip! I'm always trying out new hobbies and homemade clay has become my newest! I also have some earrings in the works so stay tuned 🥰 I'll be having my wonderful husband make me some sticks to use instead of paintbrushes 😅

Got a little bit of contrast going with cherry and poplar wood!

Glass inlay is mostly complete (a little bit of sanding left to do)

Glue up for the topper is in progress... Coming along slowly but surely

Can start to see what it will look like in the end
