There are quite a few new faces around here, so I thought it was time to reintroduce myself! 🤍

Hi, I’m Megan! The face behind Grandchamp Interiors, a mama of four, and someone who never imagined that a little creative outlet would turn into the business it is today.

Funny enough, I started this business on a whim. I was a stay at home mom who was feeling a little bored and craving something that was just for me. I’ve always had a love for interior design, so I figured, why not give it a shot?

What started as something fun quickly turned into so much more. People started reaching out, asking me to help design their homes, and somewhere along the way, I completely fell in love with the process.

Not just the pretty furniture, paint colors, and finishing touches, but the people, the relationships, and getting to create spaces where families make their memories.

Fast forward to today, and that little idea has grown into Grandchamp Interiors, something I’m incredibly proud of and still sometimes can’t believe I get to call my job.

I never had some big master plan. I simply followed something I loved, took a chance on myself, and kept going.

And the best part? I get to do something I’m passionate about while showing my kids that sometimes the best things in life happen when you least expect them.

If these walls could talk… imagine the stories they would tell. 🏡🖤

Renovating a nearly 200-year-old home comes with its fair share of surprises, but some of our discoveries have truly stopped us in our tracks!

As we’ve peeled back the layers of history, we’ve uncovered little glimpses into what everyday life looked like almost two centuries ago.

🕯️ Oil lamp hookups in every bedroom a reminder of a time before electricity, when evenings were lit by the soft glow of a flame.

🔔 An old dinner bell once used to call the children inside for dinner… or lunch… or maybe even breakfast! Can you imagine ringing a bell instead of yelling, “DINNER’S READY!”?

🔥 A small fire pit in the basement possibly used by the original builders to warm themselves or heat food and water while working through those brutal Midwest winters. I can’t even imagine no heat in January!

There’s something incredibly special about uncovering pieces of the past that have been hidden for generations.

We’re not just renovating a home. We’re becoming part of its story.

And while we’re giving this old beauty new life, we’re making sure its history isn’t forgotten. With all the NEW construction going on, would you buy old??

Not every space needs a full renovation to feel completely refreshed. 🤍

While we’re often brought in for full-scale renovations, sometimes a client loves parts of their existing space and simply doesn’t want to take on the cost, timeline, or disruption of starting over.

That’s where we get creative.

We’ll “freestyle” the space working with what already functions, updating the pieces that make the biggest impact, and thoughtfully layering in new furniture, lighting, rugs, window treatments, paint, styling, and more.

The goal? A space that feels fresh, intentional, and completely transformed without renovating everything!

Sometimes the smartest design decision is knowing what to keep, what to change, and where your budget will make the biggest difference.

Our clients dreamed of a basement getaway where kids and adults alike could unwind, have fun, and feel right at home.

We created two distinct spaces with one goal in mind: comfort meets entertainment!

🏓 One side is all about friendly competition, centered around a ping-pong table.

🎬 The other is designed for movie nights, lounging, and sinking into all those comfy, cozy vibes.

With moody blues, rich textures, and warm, inviting details, this basement is the perfect blend of fun and relaxation.
