Happy New Year friends. It has been awhile since I have been over here to my Creative Memories page. What can I say, life happens!

In a world where most of our photos live on our phones, I’ve really come to appreciate the importance of printing pictures, putting them in albums, and labeling them.

Taking a few extra minutes to write the date and who’s in the picture may not seem like a big deal now—but one day, it will mean everything. Memories fade, phones get replaced, and stories can be lost if we don’t take the time to preserve them.

Albums give our photos a home. Labels give them a story. They turn snapshots into memories that can be passed down, understood, and cherished by the people who come after us.

Do your future self—and future generations—a favor. Print the photos. Write the names. Add the dates. Those little details matter more than we realize.
