✨ A lake-inspired transformation at Lake Holiday ✨
Inspired by the shimmering blue waters of Lake Holiday, this kitchen remodel was designed to feel like a vacation you never have to leave. And with that view from the back porch… the inspiration speaks for itself.
We reworked the kitchen layout to better connect it to the living and dining spaces and created a more open, intentional flow throughout the home. The wall where the stove originally lived was closed off and completely reimagined. It now houses a paneled refrigerator, a coffee bar, and a pantry, bringing both function and a clean, cohesive look to the space.
The back wall of the kitchen became the new home for the stainless steel 6-burner stove and oven. While we removed a window in that location, it was thoughtfully replaced with a stunning blue backsplash which subtly mirrors the lake views seen just beyond the sink and tying the entire design back to its surroundings.
A newly added peninsula was added to define the kitchen while still keeping it open, with styled shelving above brings warmth and character.
A hidden paneled dishwasher keeps the space clean and cohesive matching the paneled refrigerator, allowing the stainless steel that is the range, truly shine. Personal touches make this space even more special, like the repurposed boat cleat used as a handle for the trash cabinet. A functional detail with meaning, and a perfect nod to lake life.
With new flooring throughout, a brightened living room (goodbye paneling!), and a reworked floor plan that transforms the former dining room into a cozy front sitting space, every inch of this home was designed with intention. The new dining area now flows beautifully off the kitchen, perfect for gathering and entertaining.
We love how this one came together and even more, how much our client loves it and reflects exactly what they had envisioned. That’s always the goal!
