There are laundry rooms, and then there are laundry rooms like this.

Clean, bright, and so inviting that you might almost forget you're in a room meant for chores.

Almost.

The scariest part of remodeling?
Finding out you have to live with that layout for another 10 years. 🤣

The kitchen island that's always in the way.
The bathroom with nowhere to put anything.
The room that never quite works the way you need it to.

This Halloween, we're choosing a different kind of scary.
A plan.
A good one.
Happy Halloween from Wineteer Design. 🎃

Kitchen 101: The Kitchen Triangle
Ever wonder why some kitchens just work?

The key to a great kitchen flow involves the placement of the refrigerator, sink, and stove or oven.

These three work zones create what designers call the kitchen triangle.

When the layout is right, moving between them feels natural. When it's wrong, you can feel like you're doing laps just to make dinner.

Great kitchen design looks beautiful and works for how you live.

A great remodel starts long before construction begins.

It starts with understanding how you live, what isn't working, what you want to change and what you want your home to feel like when the work is finished.

From there, every decision has a purpose. The layout. The materials. The finishes. The way the space comes together.

At Wineteer, our design-build process brings those pieces together from the beginning, creating a plan built around your home and your life.

That is how a vision becomes reality.

Let's talk finishes.
Sometimes it's one small detail that makes you fall in love with a space.

The cabinet color.
The countertop.
The backsplash.
The hardware.
The lighting.

Which one catches your eye first when you step into a kitchen?

POV: You said you were only remodeling one room.

Then you started thinking about the bathroom.

Then the living room.

Then that weird little hallway that has bothered you for 11 years.

Then suddenly you're standing in your house with a tape measure.

We've seen this happen before. 😂

If you're going to remodel, you might as well start with a plan. And that's what we are here for.

Before + After: Made for More

The homeowners wanted more from their outdoor space.

Use of the original outdated deck was limited by rot and deterioration. They envisioned something grand, low-maintenance, and suited for year-round enjoyment.

Enter Wineteer.

The new design pairs a rot-resistant steel frame with composite decking for a clean, coastal-inspired look without the maintenance of traditional materials.

A 10-foot vaulted ceiling, recessed lighting, heating elements, and a ceiling fan make the space comfortable in every season.

And with a new 6' x 8' door connecting the kitchen to the deck, entertaining can flow easily between indoors and outdoors.

What started as unused space is now an award-winning extension designed around the way the homeowners love to live.
