Even if you want a quilt done but don’t want to use a lot of shirts…. No problem! Even lap quilts tell your story! I loved making this one for someone we’ve known since a toddler! Watching him grow up has been a pleasure!

Another grad quilt completed and handed off to mom. I love turning years of past memories in to something they can use for years to come.

It’s hard to believe that April is almost over and graduation is right around the corner! I love working on graduation quilts and seeing all the amazing accomplishments these young adults have had. And this young woman is no different - student council, sports, and such a bright future ahead of her!

Happy Halloween!!! This is my favorite holiday and this year I went as Janet Horne - the last woman to be burned at the stake for witchcraft. The main dress and overlay I bought and added the flames, stick pyre, and wooden (cardboard) stake. Mr, Stitch is my judge in his master’s graduation gown and gavel

Halloween is definitely my favorite holiday! This year, I made my costume - or at least part of it, which I normally don’t have time to do.!I’ll post the pictures after Friday, but it got me thinking…. What was your favorite Halloween costume? As an adult or as a child. Do you like to make your own or do you like the ease of store bought?

My sewing room has been busy this year and I love it! I had a super nice gentleman reach out to have 3 quilts done - 1 king and 2 twin. Sadly I spaced on photographing the king but I did get the 2 twins. Here is one of them. It was fun digging through the shirts and separating the themes so I could split them evenly between the 2 quilts; Harley, Indigenous, Chevy, MN Harley….
