What types of glass bottles fill your shelves? Do you pull them out and fill them with fresh flowers in the summertime? Do you pluck some fresh lavender and let it dry while sitting in them through the autumn months? And just how many brown glass bottles is simply too many? 🤎🤎🤎

This beauty will be coming to our space inside this week... come browse the fall collection.

Collected, not decorated… 🧐

Hear me out- I saw the first ‘plum piece’ and contemplated purchasing it for quite some time as it brought back childhood memories of picking our neighbor’s plums and blackberries. I wanted to buy it on the spot, but being that it was mass-produced art and cost more than I wanted to pay for a generic piece, I held off in order to wait for ‘the right piece.’

A week or two later, I found the second ‘plum piece’… no frame needed (although I did add a plate hanger) and it cost significantly less than the first- score!

We don’t need to bring everything we like home with us, and shouldn’t. Part of loving the space you’re in is respecting it by not making it hold more than it can handle. (And so often our own hearts are weighed down by the ‘too much’ when we look around and see all the things that need cleaned, or hung, or fixed, or… 💔)

Love your space, show restraint, and live well amongst the pieces you love. 💚
