Hello everyone! My name is Hannah, I am the proud new owner of Meadow House Home, Gift and Floral in Owensboro Ky. The transition from employee to owner has been quite a long process, but one I could not be happier about! I'd like to introduce myself a bit. Before I became a business owner, I was a mother. Before that a wife, sister, and daughter. Just a little girl in a small town with big dreams!
I grew up in Hancock County, loving art and the outdoors. Once I graduated high school, I moved to Louisville to pursue a higher degree in fine art. There I got my bachelor's degree at Spalding University and fell even more in love with my creative side. My degree took me through many wonderful and strange jobs for a few years, but nothing stuck. Then I married my high school sweetheart, had a baby and moved back home. So many big changes happened in a short amount of time, but it was well beyond worth it!
I found so many opportunities to still be creative and re-connect with my community and family in Owensboro. The best connection being Meagan Cooley of Meadow House! Working for Meagan was an absolute dream and I immediately fell in love with her business. She took a chance on me, and I could not be more grateful! So, when the opportunity arose for me to become the owner, I couldn't say no. Thanks to Meagan's endless patience and kindness, the support of her team, the Owensboro community, and my family, I've been able to step into this role with confidence.
I promise to continue Meagan's mission with Meadow House and provide the same kind of welcoming environment where every client feels cared for and supported. These photos are of my real support team; the people I owe it all to for helping me get this far. My dashing bow-tied husband who never said no to my outlandish ideas, (like buying a business!), my darling son who has been a blessing and an inspiration every day, my parents who encouraged me to do what I love and believed in me, and my younger brother who is the reason behind it all. 🥰
