Just finished this tiny home guest house for the most darling little young lady. I believe she is my all-time favorite client! All kidding aside, this is literally trash to treasure. Someone in my neighborhood had put this playhouse on the curb for trash collection. It had a gaping hole in the roof from hail damage. I filled it with spray foam, then went to work painting the exterior. Believing no house is a home until the inside is made beautiful and cozy, I went to work wallpapering with peel-and-stick wallpaper and accessories to scale. Custom art over the mantle matches the kitchen I found at Goodwill for $4.99. A dog bed makes a nice, soft spot to pretend you're resting on the sofa. It’s the first room your guests see. Make it feel like a “welcome home” hug.
Adding wainscoting and a grasscloth wallpaper instantly gave this foyer a new personality. Placing a table with a mirror & lamp warmed up the space, while the oil painting adds interest.
