Signs were scheduled to go up tomorrow but I showed up to the shop this morning and was blown away by Agnew Signs surprise install a day early!!!! This song was one of my Dad’s favorites and since he was where I got my entrepreneurial mindset from it felt only right to use it as the soundtrack for this milestone moment!

Today was pulling ten thousand staples, perusing the remnant fabrics for dining chair kits, and tackling the art light and a new window display.

The B62 kit game is expanding beyond our classic trucks and into the kitchen! We will be posting these new dining chairs DIY upholstery kits into our Etsy shop next week with some great fabric options and if you are in town you can stop in and pick out your kit from the rolls here and we can make them for your at home project same day.

B62 Upholstery is officially open on Main Street in downtown Owosso.

In addition to our made-to-order classic truck upholstery kits, our new downtown shop is now open for residential, commercial and automotive upholstery projects throughout Mid-Michigan.

Stop in with a project, browse our fabric library, shop remnant fabrics by the yard, or come talk through an idea with us.

We’re still putting the finishing touches on a few things around the shop, but the door is open and the OPEN sign is officially flipped.

First class mail is going way too slow! I originally just tried to add in the cheapest mailing option for swatch requests but my gosh it has been torturously slow! I have delayed changing the price for swatch postage on the website for too long but now I need to adjust it so it covers tracking and gets there in about 3 days instead of the current pace (about that of walking it to you myself!)

A “quick” visit to the shop to drop things off became measuring, moving things around, measuring again, which led to pondering what life will be like in this space and how to make it flow and function…you know, typical Sunday energy. Tomorrow it is back to business as usual but today was for imagining!
