An old scam has resurfaced. Many citizens of our county are getting phone calls that appear to be from Walton County Sheriffs Office. These people are saying you missed jury duty, failed pay a ticket, etc. They are giving you the “opportunity “ to pay it while on the phone with them. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. We will NEVER ask you for money with a phone call. Please share this information with family especially seniors or others who might not follow this page.
