Three weeks. One complete kitchen transformation. While the homeowners were away.
When the homeowners came to me through a referral, they had one request: to leave for vacation and return three weeks later to a fully transformed kitchen—ready for everyday life and to welcome their dogs home.
I knew it would be a challenge.
Great design is not only about aesthetics, but also about precise planning, coordination, and managing the unexpected.
From design development and material selection to ordering, deliveries, and construction scheduling, every detail had to be carefully orchestrated.
And as with any renovation, challenges came up along the way.
A cabinet arrived in the wrong size, tile ran short, and the refrigerator was damaged in delivery.
Each time, I worked closely with suppliers and trades to secure replacements, resolve issues quickly, and keep the project on track.
When challenges arise, you find solutions.
Three weeks later, we delivered.
The homeowners returned to a completed kitchen—and a home ready to welcome them and their dogs back.
For me, that is the true reward of design: creating not just a beautiful space, but a seamless experience from concept to completion.
