We have been planning this home and we are down to the finer details. We added an alcove at the back entrance to enhance the view. A quick sketch helps to see what it will look like and to make changes as needed before its to late. It will definitely enhance the view of rolling pastures.

Today I am laying out different sofa and chair styles that we are considering for a den. We are combining styles and pairing them up to suitable fabrics. This is for a den that needs a touch of refinement plus, has to be casual enough for kids to hang out in, as well. HERE'S A TIP-always check fabrics for durability by checking double-rubs. Fabrics that are heavily used try to select fabrics with at least 20,000 to 30,000 double rubs. This will guarantee the longevity of the fabric.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of revisiting and working on this beautiful home, which we first designed 14 years ago. The client and I worked closely together to incorporate this breathtaking view. While only one set of doors is visible, the kitchen actually boasts three sets of doors. The architectural design of this kitchen highlights its picturesque views, creating a serene atmosphere for cooking and dining.

We did this client's den a few years back and it's time for a refresh! We are adding moldings to panel the walls, new paint, new pillows, and new lamps. It's an easy refresh with big results!
