Our exit will be back open Friday morning at 8:00am, we will be open from 9:00-5:00 Friday, and Saturday 9:00-2:00. We will be closed Monday for Labor day. Come out and see us and thank you to all our customers that have not let the exit closure stop them from coming in. Sometimes it’s nice to take the scenic roads. 😀🚗

𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 (𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁. 𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲) – U.S. 68 will reopen to traffic over Interstate 24 Exit 16 in McCracken County at 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4. This includes all four ramps entering and exiting I-24 at this interchange.

What to know about District 1's first roundabout on a state highway:

▪️The speed limit is 35 mph, with a 25 mph advisory speed in the roundabout. There is a 45-mph transition zone on U.S. 68 in advance.

▪️The Exit 16 interchange closed on June 22, and construction was completed in about two and a half months – well ahead of the original four-month estimate.

▪️The overall project is not yet completed. Paving is scheduled near the intersection of U.S. 68 and KY 284 on Tuesday, Sept. 8, and is expected to last approximately four days. Pavement striping and other finishing work will follow. Anticipate various traffic shifts and expect some delays.

▪️When navigating a multi-lane roundabout, motorists should follow pavement arrows directing them into the appropriate lane. Drivers entering the roundabout should yield to vehicles already in the roundabout, which have the right of way.
