Every blade has a plan. Sometimes the plan changes.

This one left me with an unexpected blank spot on the backside of a Damascus blade. It wasn’t supposed to be there.

So instead of fighting it, we etched a mountain range into the steel. Mistakes don’t always stay mistakes.

This one is headed to my table at the tomorrow!
