✨ A Romantic Coastal New England Wedding ✨

The Glam Pad is known for being unapologetically romantic when it comes to beautiful homes, meaningful traditions, and celebrations filled with thoughtful details. So when our former intern Jackie Lappin shared photographs from her sister Tori Burke Hoeman’s wedding, we were instantly smitten. Jackie is now an interior designer with Dunbar Road Design, and it is clear to see that exquisite taste runs in her family.

Set at the bride’s childhood home in Beverly, Massachusetts, the celebration was everything we love: a charming love story, an Oscar de la Renta gown worthy of a New England summer, and a coastal palette that felt perfectly at home against a backdrop of sea and sky. Naturally, we wanted to learn more.

♥️ Remembering The Historic Connecticut Home Of Percy Steinhart ♥️

Today held the single-owner sale of the late Percy Steinhart via The World of Percy Steinhart: A Gentleman’s Life, and in reflection, we remember his charming 19th century countryside home in Litchfield, Connecticut.

Known as the bon vivant founder and creative force behind , Percy’s life moved between Park Avenue, Palm Beach, and Litchfield, Connecticut. Across the many influences of his rich and colorful life, STAIR’s collection reflects the same thoughtfully layered and playfully disciplined sensibilities that Percy brought to his own creative practice.

Percy’s passion for design is exemplified through the extensive renovations to his historic Connecticut estate which he oversaw with an eagle eye, preserving the home’s incredible bones while making it livable within the current century. Furthermore, he decorated the home entirely on his own, displaying what Architectural Digest referred to as “an encyclopedic knowledge of the design world” influenced by legends including the greats including Van Day Truex, David Hicks, Billy Baldwin, Anthony Hail, and Mario Buatta.

What is more instantly recognizable than the grand interiors of ?! Since transformed the grand resort in 1946, her fearless use of color, exuberant patterns, and larger-than-life sense of glamour have made it one of America’s great decorating destinations and a pilgrimage site for design lovers everywhere.

This fall, The Greenbrier celebrates that remarkable legacy with its 10th Annual Dorothy Draper Decorating Weekend, a gathering dedicated to the enduring magic of Dorothy Draper & Company. Guests will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes through exclusive interior tours, design lectures, evening receptions, and even a visit to the upholstery workshop where the resort’s legendary interiors are lovingly maintained.

There are collectors, and then there are true tastemakers. The late Percy Steinhart undoubtedly belonged to the latter camp. On Friday, unveiled The World of Percy Steinhart: A Gentleman’s Life, a sale celebrating the founder of and the distinctly stylish world he created. The collection is every bit as charming, worldly, and thoughtfully curated as the man himself.

Born in Havana, Percy cultivated an aesthetic that balanced sophistication with ease like no other. English antiques mingle effortlessly with modern pieces, Chinese ceramics, European paintings, and works by notable Latin American and Cuban artists, reflecting both his heritage and his discerning eye. When Laura Keeler Pierce‘s clients visited , her home furnishings shop in Seal Harbor, Maine, they felt an immediate alignment with the designer’s aesthetic. They were completing the design of their summer residence in the neighboring town, a project that ultimately lead to a second collaboration: their adjacent guest house. Yet what began as a guest home gradually evolved into their primary summer residence, a place where they now spend time throughout the year, having grown increasingly attached to it through the design process.

Located on Mount Desert Island, the vision was rooted in honoring traditional design while embracing the richness of its natural surroundings. The goal was to take a classic approach to color and pattern, then introduce a contemporary layer through thoughtful lighting and furnishings, creating a home that feels collected, timeless, and fresh.

There’s an old saying that “everything is bigger in Texas,” but a recent charity event benefiting , an organization that decorates the rooms of children undergoing long-term hospital stays, proved the Lone Star State knows how to decorate on any scale. The annual “Room To Grow” luncheon, showcased miniature rooms designed by an impressive roster of Dallas designers, and a dollhouse custom-designed to look like the iconic Father of the Bride house.
