🍤❤️ Marry Me Shrimp with Pasta

📝 Ingredients
For the Shrimp
1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Sauce
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Pasta
12 oz (340g) fettuccine, linguine, or penne
Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish
👩🍳 Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Shrimp
Toss shrimp with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Transfer shrimp to a plate.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1 minute.
Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
Step 4: Combine Everything
Return shrimp to the skillet.
Add cooked pasta and toss until coated.
If needed, add reserved pasta water a little at a time to loosen the sauce.
Simmer for 1–2 minutes until everything is heated through.
Step 5: Serve
Garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
Sprinkle with extra Parmesan cheese.
Serve immediately.
