Good Saturday morning, friends! ☀️🌤️

So far, it’s a beautiful morning with a mixture of sun and clouds and no rain. I’m grateful for a peaceful start to the day!☕️🌞

This morning, I’ll be finishing up my market preparations and getting everything packaged back up for next weekend’s market. Then it’s time to clear off my dining room table so it can finally be used for something other than market prep! 😂📦

I’m hopeful I can get over to the beach early this afternoon to find the pieces I need to finish my seahorse. 🌊

I’ve also had some requests for the coastal ornaments I create in my glass studio, so I’ll be prepping some oyster shells today. It feels so good to slowly get back into the swing of creativity, and I’m looking forward to spending some time in the studio again! 🦪

Thinking of everyone in the path of the storm and praying for safety. 🙏

☀️ Good Friday morning, everyone! 🌦️

I’m enjoying this little bit of sunshine peeking through this morning and soaking it up while I can, since another day of rain is in the forecast until this storm finally moves out. ☔️

I’ve been feeling a little under the weather since last weekend, so I haven’t been getting quite as much accomplished each day as I normally do. 💛 I was hoping to get back to cutting glass today, but instead, I’ll be focusing on finishing my market prep and getting everything packaged back up. Once that’s done, I can get back to creating. ✨💫

Sometimes we just need to slow down, listen to our bodies, and take things one day at a time. I’m hoping to be back to creating very soon!

Wishing everyone a day filled with sunshine, smiles, and a little happiness to carry you into the weekend! 🌞😊💐

Still raining here this morning, and at some point I’m going to have to go drain the pool! 😳🏊‍♀️
The forecast says we may finally see the sun sometime Tuesday… fingers crossed! 🤞☀️

Early morning coffee and a little hand sewing was the perfect way to get the day started. I’m knocking out a Christmas gift, and there’s just something special about starting the day with a handmade project!

I have a dental appointment this morning, and then it’s back home to finish up my market preparations and get back to cutting glass. I anticipate I’ll be back to glass cutting tomorrow!

Well, it looks like the autumn odds were in my favor after all! 🍂🧡

Thanks to the weather this Saturday’s Mumtastic Fall Festival is now happening on Saturday, October 19th
and that extra time means my seahorse may be ready to make its debut at the first fall market after all! 🐚✨

I’m so excited for the new date and can’t wait to share it with you! Fingers crossed!
I’ll keep you posted! 🤞✨

🌧️ Good Wednesday morning, everyone! ☕️

It’s a rainy, dreary kind of morning here, but I’m still squeezing in some market prep in between appointments. I’m definitely anxious to get back to my seahorse!
Unfortunately, I don’t think I’m going to have him finished in time for this Saturday’s market, but I do have another market coming up in two weeks, so my goal is to have him completed shortly. Wish me luck!🤞✨

Sometimes these ideas take the time they take! And the weather had not been cooperating. 🥰

🌻 Good Tuesday morning, everyone! 🌻

I’ve been a little quiet here the last few days as I’ve been busy trying to tie up all the loose ends for my first fall market of the season this Saturday, October 10th! 🍂

If you’re local, come out to Green Heritage Nursery,
22 Bimini Ln., Bunnell, FL, where I’ll be joined by several other local artists vendors in a beautiful, peaceful, serene atmosphere. 💛

The 2nd Annual Mumtastic Fall Festival will be happening from
9 AM–3 PM, and there will be lots to see and enjoy. And for all you plant lovers out there… Mum’s are Buy One, Get One Free! 🌿🪴

We’ve had quite a bit of rain here over the last couple of days, and unfortunately, my poor sunflower patch has really taken a beating. 🌻🌧️ At some point today, I’ll have to cut most of them down to bring inside and put in some water. Some of the stems have taken quite a beating, and are completely bent over. 🥲
It makes me a little sad, but at least I’ll get to enjoy them inside for a while longer. 💛

I’m still busy tying up those loose ends, but I hope to be back to posting more regularly over the next few days.

Good Sunday morning!

The morning is starting off so nicely, and I’m soaking up this peaceful start before the weather shifts later today.☕️

After church, I’m heading to the beach on a little treasure hunt for a few special pieces I need to finish my seahorse. 🌊🐚✨ There’s something so inspiring about creating with treasures from nature- the beach always seems to have exactly what I need!

Today I’ll also be starting my market-prep list for next weekend. 📝 Lots of ideas, creating, gathering, and getting all the little details together. I love this part of the process - because I like to be organized as much as possible to ensure a positive and uplifting experience at each market!

☔️Good Saturday morning, everyone! ☔️

I’ve completed the seahorse as far as I can at this point!
I’ve reached the stage where I need to head to the beach and collect a small bit of nature to continue bringing it all together. 🌊

The only problem? It’s another rainy day! ☔️
So, I’ll shift gears today and either start my next project or begin a shadowbox. The shadowbox will show the step-by-step process involved in creating a stained-glass piece of art from beginning to end. 🪟✨

I’m hoping to have the shadowbox ready to share at my upcoming pop-up market so you can see a behind the scenes look of what goes into making stained glass art.

Good morning, and happy first Friday in October! 🍂

I’ll be spending my time in the glass studio today, getting started on my seahorse as I prepare for my first fall market on Saturday, October 10th! 🍁
I’m excited to see this piece come together and get ready for a fun fall market season.

☀️ Good Thursday morning, everyone! ☀️

I’ll be finishing up the project I’ve been working on, and I’m so excited to finally be getting close to the finish line! I haven’t been able to share it with anyone just yet, but once it’s delivered and received, I’ll be able to share it with you all. 📦✨

In the meantime, I’ve been happily spending time in my glass studio. ❤️
I’ve also lined up my next project, and the glass has been selected, the pattern is cut, and I’m ready to go!

I’m especially excited about this one because I’ll be bringing a seahorse to life using beautiful “Fremont Glass!” IYKYK!!!!🔥✨
I can’t wait to see how it all comes together.

And while I’ve been busy creating in the studio, my sunflower harvest is doing beautifully! 🌻 Showing in a gorgeous mix of autumn colors ready to inspire some upcoming creations.
