Patrick Dragonette was first drawn to antiques and design as a child attending furniture auctions with his Dad , an antiques dealer. After a decade long run as an actor and singer on the New York stage in the 80's, Patrick chose the west coast to pursue his long held interest in antiques leading to the opening of his eponymous showroom in Los Angeles in 1997. In the intervening years, Dragonette L

td has become one of the country's top resources for finely crafted mid 20th-century design and a go-to source for designers across the country. Dragonette's offerings have expanded in recent years to include Dragonette Private Label, a collection of pieces created by Patrick, reflecting his unique twist on modern mid-century design. In addition to curating the shop, Patrick also tackles the role of interior designer, and has completed several important commissions, including the orchestration of an astonishing collection of mid-century pieces for a Hal Levitt house in Trousdale Estates. “My approach is to seek simplicity of shape and design, matched by genuine comfort.” In 2015 and 2017, Patrick was named to LUXE Magazine’s Gold List.

Detail of a newly acquired Arturo Pani cocktail table made in Mexico City circa 1959s. At five feet circumference this one is a real statement maker! Beautiful solid brass with painted mirror and glass it’s suitable for a mid century ot traditional interior. Needs to be seen in person! Stop by the showroom.

We dropped by the lounge at L’hotel for a drink before dinner. We are checking out Ralph’s Cafe and have American burgers this evening! We enjoyed foie gras at lunch and after nearly 2 weeks I’m craving a good old hamburger! I hear Ralph’s is the place I’ll let you know!

This evening we were lucky enough to experience the magic of Jamie Lloyd’s EVITA!
Words fail… one for the ages, most exhilarating theatre experience since Hamilton 10 yrs ago. Rachel Ziegler and Eva a match made in heaven. ALW has found a director who has breathed new life into a 49 yr old property! If you’re in London DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW. Tonight the cast re dived a 5 minute standing ovation!
