The Christmas White Country Church
A Holiday Poem by Brandt Wood And Clay

In a quiet little village, where the winter breezes blow,
Stands a little white country church, with a warm and gentle glow.
A wooden cross above the doorway, a wreath of red and green,
A simple little house of faith, the sweetest ever seen.
Its weathered roof tells stories of Christmases long ago,
Of families gathered close together, while candles softly glow.
Of hymns sung on a winter night, of love that fills the air,
And whispered prayers of gratitude for blessings that we share.
No grand cathedral reaches high, no golden bells ring clear,
Yet somehow in this humble church, the heart of Christmas is near.
For within these simple wooden walls, a precious truth is told:
That God sent us His greatest gift, more precious far than gold.
So let this little white church remind us through the years,
That Christmas isn't found in things, or wrapped in bows and cheers.
It's found in love, in helping hands, in kindness freely given,
And in the baby born that night, whose love leads us to Heaven.
May this small church bring peace and joy to every heart it finds,
A symbol of the Christmas love that brings all hearts together, binds.
And may its quiet presence shine throughout the whole year through,
Reminding us that Christ is born, and His love makes all things new.
A little white church, a cross above, a wreath of Christmas green—
A timeless sign of faith and hope, the sweetest Christmas scene.

🌟 FEATURED MAKER: GAR BRANDT | BRANDT WOOD AND CLAY 🌟

🪵🏺🎸 At 72, the joy of creating never gets old!

Meet Gar Brandt of Brandt Wood And Clay, a craftsman, potter, and lifelong learner who believes there is always something new to discover, create, and master.

Gar enjoys bringing ideas to life through the warmth of woodworking and the creative possibilities of pottery. In his woodshop, he works with his hands to turn wood into beautiful, useful, and unique pieces. At the pottery wheel, he shapes clay into handcrafted treasures, each with its own character and personality. From handmade wooden gifts to one-of-a-kind pottery, his work reflects a love for craftsmanship, creativity, and the satisfaction of making something special by hand.

But Gar’s creativity doesn’t stop in the workshop! 🎶 He also enjoys learning new things on the guitar, challenging himself to improve his musical skills just as he does with woodworking and pottery.

At 72, Gar continues to embrace the challenge of learning new techniques, developing new skills, and exploring fresh ideas. For him, the fun is not just in the finished product—it’s in the process of learning, experimenting, and discovering what he can do next.

Together with his wife, Deb, Gar shares his passion for handmade craftsmanship through Brandt Wood And Clay, creating special items made with care, creativity, and a personal touch.

His story is a wonderful reminder that you are never too old to learn something new, follow your passions, or try something you’ve never done before.

Whether he’s in the woodshop, working at the pottery wheel, or strumming his guitar, Gar is proof that a creative spirit only gets better with time!

❤️ Keep creating. Keep learning. Keep playing. And never stop discovering!

Please join us in celebrating Gar Brandt and his continued passion for the art of making things by hand!
