These photos may not be sexy insta-worthy pix, but they represent the last year of my journey in clay.
I took 2025 off from making finished work to study the art of glaze chemistry and to begin making my own glazes.
These photos reflect this last year - from the first load of greenware, loaded full of pieces that were always intended for testing, all the way through studying, testing, and refining, to the final pic showing all the forms that are ready to receive my new glazes.
Ceramics is this amazing alchemy of art and science, continually providing new ways to express oneself. I learned a ton this last year, and grew in my love of clay. But I think the one thing I learned is there is always something new to be learned.
