Is there a cloudy haze or moisture between the panes of a window that you can't wipe away?

That usually means the seal on the insulated glass unit has failed and moisture has gotten inside. Seals can wear out over time with heat and humidity, and severe weather can compromise them too.

The good news is that you may not need a whole new window. Depending on the frame and its condition, we can often replace just the insulated glass unit and bring back a clear view without replacing the entire opening.

After a storm, the first goal is to protect your property. The next goal is to repair it correctly.

Temporary protection, like covering or boarding a broken opening, helps keep wind, rain and debris out for now. But it's meant to buy time. It isn't the final fix.

A permanent repair starts with an accurate assessment. Storm damage can affect more than the glass itself, including frames, tracks, hardware and seals. Depending on what we find, the right solution may be new glass, a repaired door or a complete replacement, such as upgrading an older sliding glass door to a hurricane-impact system.
