Wild Cactus Needlework and Framing

10/22/2026

Hey all! I have a couple personal things to do this morning, so the shop is going to be open from 12:30 - 6pm today (10/22) for all my stitchers who need a little extra time. See you later!

New in the shop: Colour & Cotton hand-dyed threads and Plum Street Fall Charts! 🍂

Hand-dyed thread does something regular floss can't. The colour shifts along the length of the skein, so your pumpkins and autumn leaves get real depth without constantly switching colours.

They're dyed on a DMC base, which means they stitch exactly like the floss you already use — and you can swap them straight into charts you already own. Or, pick a new chart - like the fun new patterns from Plum Street and we'll help you find the right Colour and Cotton to use!

We're staying open late on Thursday, October 29, 6–8pm, so you can come see them properly. A little bit of floss on tasting table with scrap linen so you can try before you buy, a short demo on working with hand-dyed thread, c***r, and free custom thread pulls.

Free. Just let us know you're coming so we can save you a chair. Seats are limited!
