2025!
I didn't really keep track of things this year, but here are the highlights I can think of:
💕 I've developed a love of sent angle drawing, and have drawn A LOT of pieces.
💕 My Etsy shop did triple the business it has in the last few years. My hottest sales are Afghan patterns! I'll be adding more of those.
💕 I added selections of drawings to Etsy, and sold a few sets.
💕 I have had Etsy sales across the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and even South Africa!
💕 I didn't do well with a booth in a shop, and I didn't do any shows, really. I wasn't very good about recording my orders this year. I kind of let that go, but there was a part of my mind that really hated that, so I'll go back to recording things this year.
💕 I made an afghan with one block for every book I read this year. It turned out great, and VERY heavy!
💕 I made LOTS of small stuffies for my students. They read and did a lot of work to earn them. I'm so proud of them for that!
💕 We were able to donate a lot of toys for Christmas to little libraries around town. I have one in my front yard, and will keep doing that for the foreseeable future.
💕 I only made one major purchase of yarn this year (darn Joann's for closing) and I used up a BUNCH from my collection.
💕 I designed a few different toys--a set for Goodnight Moon for my grandson, and a Maggie and the Forocious Beast. Those will soon be posted to Etsy as well.
💕 I introduced my mil to diamond art--and she loves it!
I think that's about it. I'll add some pictures. What will 2026 bring? I don't know. Going to start with repairing some afghans as requested by a dear friend I lost last year. Maybe a few orders, stuffies for my classroom, toys for my little library, a sweater for my daughter.
Look out! Here we come!
