The first FO's of 2023!

First beanie is mine, made with yarn that Emma and I dyed together for her birthday. She is in the process of making her own first beanie with her skein of the yarn.

The second beanie is a gift for Emma's best friend. Can you tell what fruit it is supposed to be?!

Now the rest of the week will be spent finishing Mom's Christmas gift, and then I am going to start the process of organizing my stash. My plans for 2023 knitting involve using up my stash and working my way through a lot of the patterns I have collected but have not yet made.

Christmas 2022 Makes!

I am still finishing the sweater I am making for my mom, but these are the gifts I made everyone else.

🧶Emma and Noah each got a temperature blanket where each square was the average temp for every month of their birth year, with colors corresponding to their favorite colors.
🧶Granny Thelma and Nana each got a pair of socks. The first two pair of socks I have ever made, in fact!
🧶My dad, Jason, and Aunt Rosa all got 2 beanies a piece.

Now I am banning myself from any yarn activities for the rest of the week as I finish the last of my CEUs for my Personal Training recertification. See you in 2023 with more projects and adventures.

My first ever hand-dyed yarns are finished and ready to be knit up! I cannot wait to swatch these and get to work.

Last weekend was my last show of the year, but I still have several bigger items that would make awesome gifts.

I have some purses, weavings, and wall rugs that did not sale as well at shows as I had hoped, so I am going to do an impromptu Facebook sale. Keep your eyes peeled for pictures and prices tomorrow!
