The local section of the yarn wall has been looking rather sparse lately but good news: we’re restocking New Garden Yarns and Treasure Goddess Yarn THIS WEDNESDAY. 🤩

A huge restock of New Garden’s Backyard Garden DK and Fi*****ng weight, and a full restock of every Yak Toes sock yarn color from Treasure Goddess will be available when we open on Wednesday this week.

Plus peep a sneak peek of these cute W**e Cowl kits from Treasure Goddess that we’ll have. 🍷👀 Perfect to gift (to others or yourself 😉).

We’ve updated our in-store calendar for November!

We have a super exciting month coming up including new classes in tapestry weaving and crochet pattern reading, the return of tablet weaving and our beginner knitting series, a themed Third Thursday craft circle, and Black Friday and Small Business Saturday sales and a special pop-up with Happy Lamb Yarn!

Plus don’t miss our weekly WIP Wednesday and Spinning Sundays groups. We love having a full calendar because it means we get to see our regulars and meet new crafty friends. Hope to see you in the shop sometime soon this month!

Y’all asked and we listened: Spinning Sundays are here to stay! 🤩 We’ve loved hosting Spin-tober Sundays in the month of October so we’re continuing the fun with a permanent Spinning Sundays group. Join us Sunday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00 and bring a spindle or spinning wheel and a coffee!

We heard it’s National Cat Day today. 😻 We have a cute new puzzle of the most fashionable kitties and their scarves (which of course we are assuming are hand knit), plus plenty of cat themed notions from katy / katrinkles! 🐈 How cute are these new stitch markers?!

We have another beginner knitting class series starting soon!! 🤩 Have you always wanted to learn to knit but couldn’t get past the basic stitches? Are you befuddled by increases and decreases? Does casting on make you want to cast your needles into the abyss? This class is for you!

Join Anna of Thanks, I Made It! Creative Studio for this fun 4-week class series where she will walk you through the steps to knit your own bandana using one skein of yarn! We’ll be making the Sherbet Bandana by The Lamb & Kid using malabrigo Rios - and we just stocked 24 NEW colors so there is sure to be one you’ll love!

Commit to just two hours a week and finally conquer the skill of knitting. This class is perfect to not only get you started but to make sure you’re confident to tackle your next project (maybe even our sweater class starting in January??).

More new malabrigo goodness, this time for our spinners! We now stock Nubecita - small samples of Nube, Malabrigo’s 100% merino wool roving.

These small wool bundles are perfect for blending, adding pops of color to other yarns, or trying out new techniques. These would be so fun for felting, too! We have them all in a big basket, ready for you to dig through and find your favorites!
