I was told by one of my clients that I should add to my resume interior boat renovation. He has the hobby of buying boats, revamping them and then selling them. In this boar we redid the eating area, deck furniture, acoustic panels, slipcovered the interior furniture, made new cushions in the sleeping areas and added down pillows. for the interior seating. The pillows on the deck area are made specifically with outdoor inserts. .

Completed the matching couch for the chairs I recovered earlier in the year. The pieces were from the Mayer-Marks Furniture Company, Cleveland around 1910-1920. Unfortunately the interior was in poor condition with the straw batting and the fabric had dry rot so it was discarded and replaced with more modern materials. The couch was rebuilt from the frame out with new foam, webbing in the back and seat along with retying of the springs. It was quite a job but well worth the effort to save.

Update your traditional panels to Euro Pleat Panels. The difference between traditional pinch pleats and Euros is the position of the pleats. Traditional pleats are sewn 3 to 4" down from the top while Euros are hand pleated at the top.

Refresh your old antiques. The client wanted to save these painted beauties and the husband thought they were beyond repair and not worth saving . He was wrong.. With new velvet fabric, retying some of the springs, additional batting but keeping the original horse hair and replacing the old decorative nails with Handmade double cord we were able to made this pair a show stopped in her home.

1920's chairs after restoration was completed. Fixed frame, new batting, new cushion since the old one was shot, touch up done on the wood and new double cording along the wood edge to finish it off. Very pleased with the finished product and so was the client.

I always enjoy a challenge and these 1920 chairs definitely fit the bill. They had the original fabric and needed some TLC. The springs were shot, what batting that there was smelled musty and was stuffed with straw and horse hair. When we got the chairs home we also discovered a massive crack in one of the wings.

This is a redo of a house I did 15 years ago. Changed out the fabric on the Chase lounge, added coordinating throw pillow and changed the old valance to simple Euro-pleat Panels. On the bead with a fresh Head board we added 3 Simple Euro Shams with black trim. The Rectangular pillow is buttoned and self welted.

Guest room we did for this client with matching Euro Pleat Panels, shams and coordinating Euro shams. Notice that we took the scraps and created a coverlet to tie the entire look together. Very Restful.
