Who wouldn’t be happy doing laundry in this laundry room? 🤷🏻‍♀️
Our clients asked for color so we went with this fun geometric orange cement tile & teal cabinets. We finished it off with a custom, mid century, modern light fixture, and touches of gold in the faucet, cabinet hardware, and accessories.

Floor Tile - Saxum Tile
Faucet - Ferguson
Light Fixture - Etsy
Cabinet Hardware - Ashley Norton

Import the Unexpected.
Nothing can activate a space like one unexpected element.
Emphasis on one.
Bring in too many "scene stealers" and you'll get a visually overwhelming room.
A single jolt of the unexpected, however, brings instant life by sparking a sense of curiosity. 💡Think of elements such as a stand-out piece of art, 🖼️ a grand piano, 🎹 or a highly sculptural, brightly hued chair.
The key is to remember a room can only support one star.
All other elements must work as supporting characters in the space.

Scaling a Dining Room Rug

When shopping for a dining room rug, make sure the rug extends 30” beyond your table all the way around. This will ensure the back legs of your chairs remain on the rug when your chair is pulled out.

A foyer truly sets the tone for the entire home and is one of your guests first impressions.
This Grand Foyer is all about contrast, elegant lines, and sophistication.
The warm neutral palette, adds a rich backdrop for the modern iron and glass stair railing. The end result is perfection! 👌🏼

Contrast is key to creating an inviting, visually engaging home. This is true whether it's contemporary, traditional or something in between. It's also important to keep in mind that this includes everything from contrasting colors — the classic is, of course, black and white — to complimentary textures and contrasting finishings: Think luxurious velvets paired with hand-woven linens; metallic tiles that create captivating tension with matte-finished cabinetry. These kinds of tactile and visual contrasts create an instant sense of richness, depth and interest to any space.
